Air India Repatriates 114 Indians Stranded In UAE Due To Coronavirus Lockdown

An Air India flight carrying 114 Indians, who have been stranded in UAE because of the coronavirus-induced lockdown, reached Indore on Sunday night time, an official mentioned.

Of the full variety of passengers, 64 deboarded at Indore, whereas the remaining 50 have been flown to Mumbai, the official mentioned.

“The aircraft landed at Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Worldwide Airport at 8:12 pm,” Aryama Sanyal, the Airport Director mentioned.

In the meantime, nodal officer of Indore district for COVID-19 prevention, Amit Malakar, mentioned that not one of the 64 passengers, who deplaned in Indore, confirmed any signs of coronaviurus an infection in the course of the airport screening.

Of them, 12 passengers are from Indore.

“These passengers, who already carried a COVID-negative take a look at report, should keep in residence isolation for 14 days as a precautionary measure. Different passengers should keep at an isolation centre for the primary seven days and below residence isolation for as many days later,” he mentioned.
