A case was registered towards Madhya Pradesh Congress working president and MLA Jitu Patwari for allegedly posting a doctored picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which the ruling BJP claimed damage the dignity of the PM in addition to spiritual sentiments of Hindus.

Within the picture uploaded by Mr Patwari, the PM is seen sporting a masks and holding a bowl throughout the Ram Temple bhoomi pujan ceremony in Ayodhya on August 5.

Accompanying the picture was a tweet in Hindi which stated, “The nation’s economic system, enterprise and revenue, declining financial standing of farmers, jobs and unemployment, decline of economic system, labourers and their battle. These should not topics of tv debate. As a result of, (we) will stroll with the bowl.”

Chhatripura police station in cost Pawan Singhal stated Mr Patwari was booked below sections 188 (disobedience to order duly issued by public servant) and 464 (making false digital report) of IPC on the grievance of metropolis BJP president Gaurav Randive.

Mr Singhal stated, at first look, it appears the picture uploaded on Mr Patwari’s Twitter deal with was a “tampered” one, including that part 188 of IPC was invoked because the district administration had already banned provocative social media posts.

Indore Lok Sabha MP Shankar Lalwani and native leaders expressed displeasure on Mr Patwari’s tweet and gave a memorandum and grievance to Deputy Inspector Basic of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra.

They stated Mr Patwari had “not solely damage the dignity of the Prime Minister, but in addition spiritual sentiments of Hindus”.

Whereas Mr Patwari, MLA from Rau and better training minister within the earlier Kamal Nath authorities, deleted the picture later, it did not cease BJP leaders from ridiculing him for spelling errors in his Hindi tweet.

BJP leaders stated the Congress had made somebody like Mr Patwari, who cannot get Hindi spellings proper, as state increased training minister.
