French President Emmanuel Macron late Sunday denounced a ‘cowardly” assault on humanitarian employees in Niger and mentioned he would do every part to make clear the incident wherein eight individuals died.
The French chief, who spoke along with his Niger counterpart Mahamadou Issoufou, added that he was decided to assist counter the “terrorist teams within the Sahel area”.
Officers in Niger mentioned six of the eight individuals killed by gunmen on Sunday have been French nationals.
