A cop passed away in the line of responsibility and 3 terrorists were shot dead in an over night encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pantha Chowk location after a joint group of the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and authorities came under attack.

The terrorists bombarded a joint check-post last night, the Kashmir Zone Police stated in a tweet. Throughout the search operations, they once again bombarded the security workers, which caused an encounter, the post read.

One cop was eliminated in action last night and one terrorist was shot dead. 2 more terrorists were eliminated today, authorities stated, including that the encounter is still on.

At least 10 terrorists have actually been shot dead in various encounters in Jammu and Kashmir because Friday.

On Saturday, a soldier was eliminated in the line of responsibility and 3 terrorists were shot dead in an encounter in south Kashmir’s Pulwama. The encounter broke out after security forces introduced a late-night anti-terror operation at Zadoora location in the south Kashmir district.

On Friday, 4 terrorists were eliminated on Friday in an encounter with the security forces in Kiloora town of Shopian district. The authorities stated 2 of the 4 terrorists who passed away were associated with the kidnapping and killing of a panchayat member connected to the BJP.

” One terrorist gave up. We have actually taken him into custody and he will be handled according to law,” an officer had actually stated on Friday.
