A 30-year-old guy was detained for presumably deceiving elderly people and others on the pretext of assisting them withdraw cash from ATMs in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, authorities stated on Wednesday.
Nagpur rural authorities detained the implicated Mayur Anil Kayarkar, a citizen of Ajni in the district, on Tuesday, and took 27 debit cards coming from others.
” The implicated would target elderly people or those individuals who dealt with troubles in withdrawing cash from ATMs. He would approach such individuals on the pretext of assisting them. While doing so, he would turn over a phony ATM card to the user,” an authorities authorities stated.
