A bit officer within the Indian Council of Agricultural Analysis (ICAR) lodged a grievance in opposition to an e-commerce web site for allegedly sending him a detergent cleaning soap as a substitute of a cell phone, police mentioned on Sunday.
Sohan Lal, 46, a resident of Mayur Vihar Section-III, in his grievance acknowledged that he had ordered a cell phone on October 19 from an e-commerce web site.
On Wednesday round 12.30 pm, the vender delivered the cell field to him which contained a detergent cleaning soap inside it. The supply boy handed over the merchandise and left instantly, a senior police officer mentioned.
In accordance with the FIR, a case beneath part 420 (dishonest and dishonestly inducing supply of property) has been registered at Gazipur police station and an investigation is underway.
Mr Lal mentioned that he had ordered the identical cell phone a few days again and on October 19, he ordered it once more for his senior.
